How long is the lesson?
All Business English lessons are 60 minutes long.
What will I learn?
This is a standard Business English language course. It is suitable for students at Pre-intermediate to Upper-intermediate levels. It covers the most essential skills needed for communicating in English in a business environment.
The course includes, but is not limited to, such topics as:
- Presentations
- Language needed to take part in meetings
- Asking for repetition, explanation, clarification
- Summarizing
- Making, processing and taking orders
- Discussing cause and effect, trends and tendencies
- Complaining
- Dealing with complaints
- Making and negotiating appointments
- Invitations
- Discussing the terms of agreements, contracts
- Asking for payment
- Booking transport, accommodation, etc.
- Telephoning, conference calls
- Business letters
- Business emails
How long is the course?
A standard Business English course takes approximately 45 hours of live online tuition to complete.
However, you can book as many lessons in advance as you like - depending on your individual needs and requirements. We will monitor your learning and make sure you make a speedy progress.
Do I need to buy a course book?
All materials for Business English courses will be provided by Ad_Lib English. You will not need to buy any additional materials.
Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?
If you would like, we can send you a certificate in a PDF form stating that you have completed a Business English course with Ad_Lib English, having received a given number of hours of English language tuition.
Please be aware, however, that this certificate will not be recognized by schools, universities, and most employers as a valid proof of your language abilities.
If you need such proof - for example, in order to be accepted at a university in the UK or the US - you will need to take one of the internationally recognized exams.
