Our Rules

To make sure that using our website is safe and pleasant for everybody we created these simple rules. You will find more detailed information on this subject in our Terms and Conditions

Learning with Ad_Lib English:

• When you book a lesson we will find a tutor for you. We think it's only fair that we give our tutors some notice to prepare for the lesson. This is why we insist that the lesson is booked and paid for at least 3 days before it is due. (For example: you book and pay on Monday; the lesson is on Thursday)
• If you've booked a lesson and you don't show up, the lesson is lost.
• If you've booked a lesson and you turn up late, the lesson will still finish at the time it was supposed to finish and you lose the time you paid for. (For example: the lesson is from 8.00 to 9.00, the student comes late at 8.20 - the lesson will still finish at 9.00 and will only last 40 minutes. The student lost 20 minutes of the time he/she paid for.)
• If you tell us at least 24 hours before the lesson that you won't be able to attend, we will re-schedule the lesson for you, so that you don't lose it.
• If you re-schedule, you will have to have that lesson within 21 days from the date of the original booking. (For example: you book a lesson on the 1st June. You then re-schedule it. You can have the lesson any day you want but not later than 22nd June.)
• Make sure everything works before you book a course.
  • Go to our technical specifications page to see if you have all the necessary programs installed and if your internet connection is fast enough.
  • Check if your headset, your microphone and your WebCam work.
  • It sometimes is a good idea to restart your computer bef ore the lesson.
  • REMEMBER: If the lesson can't take place because of technical problems on your side, you lose the lesson.
